The ideal time for maternity photography is usually between 28–34 weeks. At this stage, your bump is visible while you’re generally still comfortable enough to move around during the session. It’s best to book earlier in your pregnancy to secure your preferred date.

Sessions can take place outdoors around Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast. My sessions are generally focused on outdoors- using natural light and scenery to enhance the images, but I am also happy to come to your home. 

Soft, neutral tones and flowing fabrics photograph beautifully for maternity sessions. Daughters of India are one of my favourite brands for maternity wear, and warm tones tend to suit the outdoor, natural environment. 

Absolutely. Maternity sessions are about celebrating your growing family, so partners and children are always welcome to be included in the session. We usually recommend booking our 2 hour session to cover individual photos of yourself, plus photos with your family and partner. 

Your images are professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery. Turnaround times can vary slightly throughout the year, but galleries are typically delivered within 3 weeks.

If the weather is unsuitable for an outdoor session, we can reschedule to another date or move the session indoors where possible.
