Harshita and Aryan celebrated their love with a beautiful, traditional Indian wedding at Hare Krishna Valley, nestled in the serene countryside of western Victoria. While their main wedding took place in India, this Australian celebration was a heartfelt way to honour their traditions with local friends and family. The ceremony was rich in symbolism and colour, with the sacred rituals — including the Saptapadi (Seven Steps) — taking centre stage beneath a floral mandap framed by nature.
As a photographer, it was a joy to capture the vibrancy and warmth of the day — from the details of the bride and groom’s traditional attire to the emotional blessings and shared laughter throughout the ceremony. Following the rituals, guests enjoyed a traditional vegetarian buffet lunch surrounded by the peaceful setting of the valley. This wedding was a perfect blend of cultural depth and relaxed celebration, and a wonderful example of how meaningful a smaller, local gathering can be.
